Tow Bars & Bull Bars in Darwin
Getting a tow bar or bull bar fitted properly matters more than it looks from the outside — mounting position, crash-structure alignment and sensor compatibility all change how it performs when it counts.
Fitted to Handle the Top End
Getting a tow bar or bull bar fitted properly matters more than it looks from the outside. Outlaw Marine and 4x4 fits both from a workshop in Coconut Grove, working on vehicles from right across Darwin. Mounting position, alignment with the vehicle's crash structure and compatibility with sensors all affect how well it actually performs when it counts, not just how it looks parked in the driveway. Call 0429 210 531 and tell us the vehicle and what you're planning to tow, we'll fit it to suit.

Tow Bars
Built Around the Actual Load
A tow bar rated for a boat is a different fitting job to one rated for a camper trailer, and getting the rating and mounting right protects the chassis over years of towing, not just the first trip.
Corrugated roads and long distances test mounting points that a bar only ever driven around town never puts under real strain. We fit to the vehicle's rated spec and check the tow tongue, wiring and safety chain points as one job.

Bull Bars
Fitted With Modern Sensor Systems in Mind
Newer vehicles pack radar, cameras and parking sensors into the front end, and a bull bar fitted without accounting for that can throw off how those systems read the road. Mounting geometry matters more now than it did a decade ago.
Fitted for the Territory, not the showroom — checked against factory crash structure alignment and finished with a sensor recalibration where the vehicle needs one.

FAQ
Fitting questions we hear a lot
Modern bull bars are built around the factory crash structure rather than replacing it, but positioning still matters for how sensors read an impact. A bar mounted slightly out of factory alignment can change sensor timing in ways that aren't obvious until well after fitting. Getting the mounting geometry right matters more on newer vehicles with radar or camera sensors built into the front end.
