Suspension Made for What You're Carrying
A vehicle heading somewhere remote needs suspension set up for the load it'll actually carry, not the empty weight it left the factory at. Outlaw Marine and 4x4 fits rear leaf springs, upper control arms, front coilover suspension and diff drop kits from our workshop in Coconut Grove, adjusting ride height to suit how a vehicle is really going to be used around Darwin: loaded, towing, or built out for a proper trip. Call 0429 210 531 and we'll talk through what the vehicle's carrying and where it's headed before recommending anything.

Coilover Installation, Set Up for the Vehicle in Front of Us
Coilover suspension gives adjustable damping and height rather than a fixed factory setting, which means the same kit can be tuned firmer for load-carrying or softer for comfort. The installation is only half the job — dialling it in for how the vehicle is actually loaded is where the difference gets made.

Diff Drops Aren't About Looking Higher
Once a vehicle sits taller, driveline angles change, and a diff drop kit corrects that rather than adding lift on its own. Left uncorrected, steep angles put extra strain on CV joints and driveshaft components, particularly under tow.

Getting Cape-Ready, Properly
Bull bars, canopies, water tanks and dual batteries all add weight in different places, and factory-spec suspension rarely accounts for that combination. Building a vehicle out for remote travel means setting the suspension up for the finished weight, not the empty one.
